The final destination is finally here. Or so we are to assume until the next one comes out. I don’t think I have seen the fourth movie, but that doesn’t make a difference in this series. These films are about groups of people who are saved from freak accidents by someone having a vision and warning others. However, those who have been saved were meant to die, and now death feels cheated. In the other of how they died in the persons vision is the order that they will die in, unless they kill someone else to take their place. There is a story behind the film, but that is the general gist of it.
These films always have a series of extreme events that take place in order to kill off the characters. In this film, they have a few things that they follow, making you think “Oh, thats how it is going to happen.” But then something else happens. It all builds up to the final shocking blow.
The actors and actresses in the film are normally no one well known. Just a group of random people. One thing I could not get over, is how much one of the main characters looks like Tom Cruise. It is almost dead on.
I don’t think you can really expect much from these movies, it is all in fun and you are just there for the ride. It wasn’t the best movie I have ever seen. It makes you laugh, it makes you cringe , all in good fun. There is something about this movie, a bit of an extra twist at the end of the film that is confusing but makes you think. I would recommend that you see this movie if you have seen the other films, because you cannot just start a series and not finish it.
